Judged & scored classes
Run judged classes like you run barrels.
Reined cow horse, reining, ranch riding, horse trials, dressage — pick a scoring preset when you build the class, enter the judge's marks day-of, and standings, placings, and season points take care of themselves.
Interactive demo
Score a class right now
This is the same math the app runs. Enter marks for each segment and watch the standings re-rank — cow horse counts up from 70, horse trials count penalties down. Give two riders the same total and see how ties are handled.
How it works
Preset to points in three steps
Judged classes ride the same rails as everything else — build, enter, score, broadcast. The only new decision is which preset to tap.
Pick a preset
Building the class, tap Judged score or Penalty and pick a preset — Reined Cow Horse loads Rein Work + Cow Work with a base of 70; Horse Trials loads Dressage, Cross-Country, and Show Jumping. Rename or add segments if your show runs different.
Enter scores day-of
The judged scorer works like the barrel timer you already know: one rider up, a box per segment, a running total, and marks for scratches and no-scores. Runs one-handed from a phone.
Standings post themselves
Every saved score pushes to the live leaderboard — highest total or lowest penalties, ranked right for the discipline. Placings feed per-show Champion & Reserve and year-end points automatically.
Built-in presets
Western and English, one engine
Every preset is one tap in the class builder. If your discipline isn't here, name your own segments and pick which direction wins — anything that ranks a number works.
Reined Cow Horse
Rein work + cow work from a base of 70, summed — highest total wins. NRCHA-style membership fields available on the entry form.
Reining
A single judged pattern from a base of 70. One segment, one score, ranked highest-first.
Ranch Riding
Base-70 judged score, same engine — works for ranch reining, ranch trail, and stock horse classes too.
Horse Trials
Dressage, cross-country, and show jumping penalties summed across all three phases — lowest total wins.
Combined Test
Dressage + show jumping, scored in penalties. The two-phase version of a horse trial.
Dressage
A single test, ranked highest score first. USEA and USEF member numbers available as entry fields.
Timed and judged classes live side by side in the same show — your barrel jackpot doesn't change a bit. Each class ranks its own way, on the same entry form, the same day-of tools, and the same leaderboard.
Season points
Retire the year-end spreadsheet.
If your association keeps points in a spreadsheet, this is the feature that deletes it. Standings are public, linkable, and current the moment a class goes final.
Champion & Reserve, every show
Placings convert to points the moment results land. Each class group crowns its Champion and Reserve automatically — no math at the trailer after dark.
Year-end standings that build themselves
Season standings roll up every show you run, with a per-show breakdown behind every total. The spreadsheet retires.
Ties done right
Tied totals share the placing — both riders take the higher spot, points follow, and any tied money splits evenly. Same as the printed results, everywhere.
